Indigenous entrepreneurs offer their wares at Humber marketplace

Handmade goods, meaningful conversations and shared knowledge turned an ordinary day on campus into something memorable for Humber students.

Indigenous culture was promoted on Nov. 4 as part of Humber's Indigenous Education Month.

Humber’s Indigenous Education and Engagement (IEE) put on the event, which had Indigenous small business owners volunteer to promote and sell their art, clothing and products.

Students and faculty had come to support the event and learn more about indigenous culture. The IEE is hosting Indigenous knowledge gatherings for Indigenous Education Month on Nov.12 to 14 with walks, workshops and language classes.
